I have added the following images to the gallery. Still no news on the Justice League other than Josh Duhamel and Bijou Phillips have both auditioned/tested for roles in the movie. Teresa Palmer is rumoured to have beaten out Mary Elizabeth Winstead for the role. It isn’t certain whether or not this information is true though. Also, the official announcement of the cast list is suspected to be November 18. So let’s cross our fingers and hope this is true!

Don’t forget to pick up your In the Land of Women DVD tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll be able to get my copy and add screencaptures from the movie! Speaking of DVDs, the release date for Adam’s indie movie, The Ten, which also Paul Rudd, Jessica Alba and other familiar faces, will apparently be released some time next year in January.

Over the weekend, director George Miller began seeing 35-40 actors test for roles in the higly anticpiated Justice League movie. Adam was one of those actors. From the list of actors that tested for the roles, it seems like Miller was/is going for a younger cast that could possibly grow as each of the characters in the sequels (hopefully) that will follow after the movie. To read the full article, check it out at the The Hollywood Reporter site.

So what do you guys think? Do you think Adam should and/or will get the role? Personally, I think Adam would be great as the Flash, then again, I also would love Ryan Reynolds as him too. Hmm, a Flash movie should be made… tongue

So what about The Flash? It’s been confirmed that Barry Allen would be the version of The Flash that we will we see in the Justice League film but who would get to play him?

For years its been known that Ryan Reynolds had always been a top contender to play the Flash and even recently he has made remarks alluding that he might be involved some how in the film. But today we got word that WB was looking to get Adam Brody and Justin Long to read for the part.

Let me be very clear about this, I don’t know if they did read for the part and maybe this was just an exec talking out loud but regardless that gets me a bit worried. What is this cast going to look like?

Meanwhile online rumors are that WB is waiting to announce all the actors at once and that might be happening on November 18, 2007.

For some reason, cutenews is only revealing older news from last year which is strange, but I’ll try to fix it asap. In the mean time, here’s another article dealing with Smiley Face heading straight to DVD.

Smiley Face Jumps To DVD – DVD News
By Rafe Telsch: 2007-09-30 14:13:27
The direct-to-DVD curse is usually reserved for movies that don’t deserve a theatrical release, and frequently for movies that never should have been made in the first place. Occassionally, a truly deserving movie winds up on the direct-to-DVD slate and we have to question why a studio doesn’t give the film a better chance. Such is the case with Smiley Face, a movie that played to standing-room only crowds at Sundance and which MTV Movies calls one of the funniest films of 2007, and yet is reporting the movie is headed right to DVD.

The movie stars Anna Faris, which typically would be reason enough to avoid the film and send the movie direct to the bargain bins at Wal-Mart. However, the stoner-comedy also features John Krasinski (The Office), Adam Brody (The OC), Danny Masterson (That 70s Show), and Danny Trejo (just about every Robert Rodriguez film), which really opens up the movie to a cult following, just based on the cast alone. Looking at other successful comedies this year, particularly from the Judd Apatow camp, and there’s no reason to send this straight to DVD, but that’s where it’s headed anyway.

The distributor for the film (First Look Studios) confirmed Faris’s story, that the movie is slated for a quiet one-theater release in L.A. (which means don’t expect to find out when that release is) and then a widespread DVD release in January.
